Folios 159-160. The petition of James Hutton, of Queen's Row, Pimlico, Middlesex, to Viscount Weymouth, seeking the release of Lieutenant Colonel [René-Etienne Henry Vic] de Boisbertrand, presently detained in Forton [Hampshire]. Hutton advises that, according to the prisoner's father, his son was not actively engaged with the Americans when he was captured with General [Charles] Lee, being only present with him out of curiosity.
