Folio 132. A letter from Edm [Edmund] Elsden to Ant [Anthony] Chamier, dated at [King's] Lynn [Norfolk] concerning the capture and ransom of the vessel 'Patty' [at Ferrol, circa September 1777]. The writer encloses two letters [not filed here] from: the ransomer, James Grice to his wife, dated at Coruna [Galicia, Spain] on 10 November [1777]; and to Captain Green dated on 27 November [1777].
