Description

Folios 125-126. The petition of John Count O'Rourke, colonel of horse, lord chancellor to the King Stanislav of Lorraine, and formerly of the Russian service, seeking a pardon to enable him to return home to Ireland for a visit. Provides family details, mentioning: Count Owen O'Rourke, servant of the Duke of Lorraine; Count O'Donnell, of the Austrian service; 'felt' marshal Lacy; the petitioners brother, a colonel of horse in the Russian service. Also mentions the pardon granted to Colonel Baggot and others on similar occasions. Folio 126. A memorandum entitled 'a short extract taken from the genealogy of John Count O'Rourke'.
