Folios 95-96. A letter from Hugh Debbieg to Viscount Weymouth, dated at Mortimer Street [Middlesex] concerning his claim to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His commission was verbal, from Lord Howe and General Howe, and his service of a 'secret and confidential kind', involving Gibraltar, the destruction of the Spanish fleet at Ferrol [Spain].
