Folios 90-93. A letter from Isaac Rogerson to Viscount Weymouth, dated at tennis court Barton Hill, Bristol [Gloucestershire] concerning a meeting of prominent persons supporting the rebels in America. The informer also alleges that when he tried to report the matter to an unidentified person in a station of authority, the officer declined to take the matter further. Folio 92-93. Rogerson to Weymouth, dated as above on 30 August 1777. A further effort for clarify which officers of state are obliged to act upon allegations [of treason]. Also mentions that some of those supporting rebellion are now in France.
