Folios 93-94. Account of Cowdry and his mate's meetings with Searle and Lawrence at which settlement of the shipwrights' debts and payment of their passage were discussed in relation to which Alderman Lee is mentioned. The account ends 'Cowdry and his mate used all the means they could to get Searle to read the Paper of Encouragement, but he would not understand them; only remarked you are mistaken, you will find friends and work plenty'.
