Folios 71-75. Folios 71. Paper endorsed 'Ann[o] 1775. Minute of Transaction relative to the Shipwrights. [In pencil] These papers may well be kept together S'. Folios 72 and 75. Accounts given by Henry Thompson master of the 'Ship' tavern at Woolwich, Charles Barnard Maynard waiter and one Wilcox, a shipwright who keeps the tap at the same place concerning visits by four men who 'came from persons of consequence in the City who would support' the shipwrights with whom they were speaking.The 'Golden Lock and Key' at Smithfield is mentioned as a meeting place of those resolved to protect and support the shipwrights. Also mentioned are one Laws a publican at Woolwich, one Redout a cheesemonger, Hare and Salmon brewers, Walbridge a shipwright and Cumming. Folio 73. Undated note from Sir John Fielding to Geo [George] Jackson that Jackson should immediately send an express for Chas [Charles] Barnard Maynard the waiter at Woolwich. Folio 74. Slip of paper with the names Captain Collins of the 'Neptune', Captain Lile, McNacklone of the 'Robert'.
