Folios 45-46: Vice Admiral The Honourable Sir Somerset Arthur Gough-Calthorpe, British Commander in Chief Mediterranean Station, submission letter number 6G dated 1 February 1918 reporting on the sortie of Goeben and Breslau from the Dardanelles on Sunday morning, 20 January 1918 and on the subsequent operations, with the following enclosures.

Folios 47-54: Enclosure number 1. Report number 396 dated 30 January 1918 by Rear Admiral Arthur Hayes-Sadler, commanding British Aegean Squadron, HMS Lord Nelson.

Folios 55-59: Enclosure No 2. Memorandum number 325 dated 31 December 1917, combined action by Aegean Squadron by Rear Admiral Sydney Robert Freemantle Commanding British Aegean Squadron.

Folios 60-65: Enclosure No 3. Report dated 29 January 1918 by Lieutenant Evan George Charles Cavendish, HMS Lord Nelson, concerning information obtained from Kapitan-Lieutenant von Heydebreck, a survivor of Breslau, now a prisoner on board HMS Karapara, giving many details about his background and career and his personal views on many aspects of the war, particularly with regards to Turkey. Also includes a skecth of the Islands of Imbros and Tenedos (folio 61).

Folios 66-70: Paper dated 30 January 1918 titled, Sortie of Göeben and Breslau on 20 Jnaury 1918 by Rear Admiral Arthur Hayes-Sadler British Aegean Squadron.

Folios 71-74: Further report, number 396, dated 1 February 1918, about the Göeben and Breslau operations by Arthur Hayes-Sadler, Rear Admiral commanding British Aegean Squadron, with enclosures reporting events from 25 January 1918 to when the events were concluded.

Folios 75-76: Enclosure number 1. Memorandum number 7. Orders for HM Submarine E14 dated 27 January 1918.

Folios 77-78: Enclosure number 2. Report dated 30 January 1918 by Robert Gordon, Wing Commander, Royal Naval Air Service Headquarters, British Aegean Squadron, of reconnaissance of the Constantinople area to locate Goeben on 29 January 1918. Mentions Machine DH4. No 6420 with 200 BHP engine. Pilot Flight-Commander Lionel Arthur Hervey RNAS and Observer Sub-Lieutenant S. Chryssidy of the Greek Navy.

Folio 79: Further report number 396 dated 2 February 1918 by Arthur Hayes-Sadler, Rear Admiral Commanding British Aegean Squadron, with following enclosure.

Folios 80-86: Report number K55/2, dated 1 February 1918 by Captain Alldin Usborne Moore, Senior Officer Second Detached Squadron, concerning the salvage of HMS Raglan. Includes four photographs of wrecks of HMS Raglan and M28 (folios 83—84). Handwritten comments by DID and DOD(F) at folios 85-86.

Folios 87-200: (papers M 02187/1918 and N 3004/18).

Folio 88: Final despatch number 404/02013 dated 15 March 1918 regarding the Göeben and Breslau operations by Vice Admiral The Honourable Sir Somerset Arthur Gough-Calthorpe, British Commander in Chief Mediterranean Station. Includes a recommendation for Lieutenant Commander Geoffrey Saxton White of submarine E14 to receive the Victoria Cross and for Sub Lieutenant Spiro Hambas to receive a posthumous decoration.

Folios 89-95: Final report number 396 dated 17 February 1918 about the Göeben and Breslau operations on and subsequent to 20 January 1918 by Arthur Hayes-Sadler, Rear Admiral commanding British Aegean Squadron, HMS Lord Nelson.

Folios 96-97: Enclosure number 1. Report number 217, dated 22 January 1918 of operations off Dardanelles, engagement with Goeben and Breslau and Turkish vessels by Captain George Knightley Chetwode, HMS Blenheim, Captain (D), Fifth Destroyer Flotilla.

Folios 98-99: Report dated 21 January 1918 about the sortie of enemy vessels on 20 December 1917 by Lieutenant Commander Joseph Bernard Newill, HMS Tigress.

Folios 100-101: Handwritten report dated 21 January 1918 by Lieutenant Norman Albert Gustave Ohlenschlager, HMS Lizard, in connection with the events relating to the exit of Goeben and Breslau from the Dardanelles.

Folios 102-103: Enclosure No 2. Report dated 26 January 1918 by Commander Viscount Henry Franklin Chevallier Broome, HM hospital ship Karapara about the loss of HM monitors Raglan and M28 on 20 January 1918.
