Description

Beneficiary of the warrant: Richard Lee and George Ireland (£576 13s 4d); John Crosby and Edmund Shawe (£300); Matthew Philip and Robert Hylle (£400); Thomas Bledlowe and John Stokes (£400). John Barker and Henry Massy (£900 and £800).

Subject: £1,676 13s 4d, which Hugh Brice, goldsmith of the city of London, upon certain of the king’s great jewels, by the king’s command to him delivered by the king’s servants Richard Davy, John Sudburgh and Thomas Gryme, borrowed, and which the king received of him and employed to the defence of the realm. Also sums of £900 and £800.
