Folios 238-242. Folio 238. Letter dated at Sibton from Mr Scrivener to Lord Rochford that [John] Smith's loss by the distemper is computed at £220. He encloses the resolutions of a meeting held 12 May 1774 at Dennington, Suffolk which he hopes will prove satisfactory. Folios 239-240. Copy of the resolutions of the Justices of the Peace at the meeting at Denninington. Names given: Reverend Montagu North, John Dade, Osbourn Fuller, Reverend Robert Buxton, Francis Capper, Temple Chevallier, Thomas Cobbold, John Davy, William Ray, William Keer and Robert Carpenter Places mentioned: Laxfield, Dennington, Badingham, Brundish, Fressingfield, Cratfield, Wilby, Stradbroke and the Hundreds of Blything, Hoxne, Plomesgate and Loes. Folios 241-242. Copy of Robert Spink and John Smith's affidavit taken on oath before John Dade and a further affidavit taken of Robert Spink as to the destruction and burial of one bull and three calves belonging to John Smith.
