Letter dated at Sibton from Mr Scrivener to Lord Rochford that explaining why he failed to get the cattle killed as mentioned in his previous letter and repeating his request that the necessary powers be sent to 'such others as His Majesty shall think proper'. He says the the presence of the distemper in a second place has been confirmed. Copy.
