Folios 95-97. Folios 95 and 97. Letter dated at Wellclose Square [London] from Rob [Robert] Pell, chairman of the Tower Sessions, to 'My Lord' [?Suffolk] that he has recently noticed a person 'who was some time in the commission of the peace for this county [i.e. Middlesex] and whose name was struck out on account of certain transactions with the riotous coal-heavers, in better plight as to garb and outward appearances, than he has been seen in since his disgrace and in close familiar conference with labouring people in the streets of this neighbourhood' on whom he has set a constant watch. Any discoveries made as a result will be notified to Sir John Hawkins. Enclosed with the letter is: Folio 96. Printed paper entitled 'To the Nobility, Gentry, etcetera Who are the real Lovers of their King and Country's Prosperity The Humble Petition (of a few) of the numerous Body of Poor distressed Silk-Weavers, that are now out of employment. Printed by George Stretton, in Little-Montague Street, Bell-Lane, Spital-Fields.'
