Folios 83-84. Folio 83. Letter dated at Moorfields 'Globe Tavern' from D [David] Wilmot to Lord Suffolk 'I have this moment received the enclosed handbill, in consequence of which, I am just come to Moorfields and find 3 or 4 hundred journeymen weavers, and by their coming in, it's likely there will be thousands, they are in the quarter of Moorfields that lies in the City, I have sent to acquaint the Lord Mayor in order to have further assistance to prevent such proceedings'. Folio 84. Printed handbill addressed 'to the Poor Watermen, Porters and Carmen and their Families and all other Poor People who are distressed by the Deadness of Trade, and the Present High Price of Provisions'.
