Folios 69-71. Folio 69. Note dated at Bow Street from Sir John Fielding to Mr [William] Eden enclosing copies of letters from Mr Wilmot and Mr [John] Sherwood, 'the former of which seems somewhat extraordinary'. Folio 70. Note from Mr Wilmot to Sir John informing him that the City Marshall has been to the house of John Malfuson and advised the weavers to meet there 'about eight or ten in number but no more to present a petition to the Lord Mayor, and told them if they was [sic] any ways obstructed in the County [of Middlesex] to come into the city and he would protect them, and assured them My Lord mayor would do the same'. Folio 71. Note dated at the Public Office, Shadwell from Henry Ralph to Mr Lee that Mr Sherwood desires Sir John Fielding to be informed that all is quiet.
