Beneficiary of the warrant: John Ingoldesby, William Baldre and Geoffrey Kent (£2,000); the bishops of Ely and Durham (£100); and the earl of Essex (£100); also to Francis Mountferaunt, lord of Dusa (£100).
Subject: £2,000 to be employed upon the victualling and ‘presting’ of mariners and soldiers, arming, re-appareling and other charges for setting forth of the king’s journey to the sea; also £100; another £100; and another £100, to be taken for the restitution of certain letters patent of licence granted unto him for shipping of English cloth.
