A memorandum from Sir John Fielding concerning a security risk posed by Thomas Tillsley, alias [Thomas] Brooks who, in his capacity as engine-keeper, has access to the Queen's [Queen Charlotte] house. Mentions: Thomas's father, a school master in Glasshouse Street [Middlesex]; Mr Robinson of the Board of Works; Thomas's defacto spouse Mrs Brooks, of Grafton Street, St Ann's [Middlesex]; Matthew Martin, a suspected forger of the will of Sir David Chadwick; and Norchy Lee, a Jewish housebreaker and coiner.
