Folios 71-73. A note on behalf of Mr Francis to Stanier Porter, dated at Chancery Lane [London]. Relates to an attempt by Marshalsea officer named Jones to arrest Jeremiah Coronelle, a servant of Monsieur France. Upon learning Coronelle was in the employment of the French Minister, Jones desisted in his efforts. Mentions Mr Hudson, the attorney in the case, and Mr Richardson, the plaintiff. Folio 72. A memorandum, dated at Chancery Lane, advising that Jones is to make 'proper submission' to Monsieur Francois.
