Folios 128-131. Folios 128-131. Letter dated at the Marshalsea from JGD 'Noble Prince and Emperor' to 'the Secretaries of State, employed for the present Government of Great Britain'. It appears that JGD has been imprisoned for debt. He complains that his earlier letters have been ignored and confirms the demand he made the previous December for them 'to consign over to me an estate where there is a good habitation that I may go to, or else to pay into the Bank of England in my name the sum of One Hundred Thousand Guineas'. He mentions his apaprtment in Berners Street, Oxford Road [London]. The letter ends 'after what I have mentioned I do confirm again that my demand will be greater for every hour of the day that I remain confined and I will take notice of those particular days of suffering which 'I did not imagine I could have survived'. Folios 130-131. A further letter of complaint and demand from JGD to the Secretaries of State.
