Letter, dated at Downing Street, from John Robinson to S [Stanier] P [Porten] that, although he will not fail to put Captain Speer's letter before Lord North, the Captain's 'demands and expectations are so great and tho' he hath been assisted and relieved, his necessities multiply so fast' he, Robinson, despairs of success and thinks Speer cannot be supported.
