Folio 513: Report by Commodore (S), HMS Maidstone, dated 9 December 1914, that submarine D2 which left Yarmouth on 25 November 1914 to patrol the vicinity of Heligoland and expected to return on 30 November 1914 is yet to return. Fear for her safety. Submarine E15 under similar sailing orders has returned. Mentions a list of Officers and men in D2 is attached but this list is not present.
