Beneficiary of the warrant: James Hatfeld; lord of Gloucester; Roger Apulton; William Slefeld; David White, purser of the ship called the Gracedieu; William Fedreston, master of the Fawcon; Richard Symon, master of the Gracedieu; Clarenceux, king of arms; Master John Doget

Subject: £69 4s 1d to James Hatfeld upon the works of the king's New Hall in Eltham manor; £260 to [Richard duke of Gloucester] the lord of Gloucester for his duties in keeping the west marches; £74 4s 6d to Roger Apulton for repairs upon Eltham manor, as well £8 for bricks to be made there, and £16 for bricks to be made for Dover castle; £20 to William Slefeld, sent in embassy to the duke of Bourgoigne [Burgundy]; £8 to David White for the keeping of the ship the Gracedieu; £20 to William Fedreston upon the wages and victuals of 140 mariners, appointed to await with the ship called the Fawcon, as well upon the coming over the sea of Margaret, duchess of Burgundy, as also to convey the ships from Boston to Calice [Calais]; £20 12s 3d to the same William for ropes, etc, for the same ship; 100s to Richard Symon for wine bought by him to be spent upon the ambassadors of France; 40 marks to Clarenceux, king of arms, sent in embassy to [Christian I] the king of Denmark; £40 to Master John Doget sent in the same embassy
