Beneficiary of the warrant: John Billesby, esquire, kinsman and next heir of Agnes Billesby, the son of Richard Billesby, son of the same Agnes, late usher of the fee of the same Exchequer, deceased
Subject: 50s 10d for sealing 99 summons; 48s 6d, both for carrying 16 of the king’s writs by daily journeys to diverse places of England throughout the same time, and also for carrying the said summons and the said 16 writs to diverse counties of England; £6 13s for wax for sealing the said writs by daily journeys and for sealing 3,408 of the king’s writs; and 19d for diverse necessary things bought in the Exchequer throughout the same time.
