Judges' certificate on the following capitally convicted:- at Kingston upon Thames [Surrey] John Steel for highway robbery and Edward Fullagate for stealing a black mare; at Chelmsford [Essex] William Thorpe for horse stealing and Thomas Godfrey 'for feloniously ravishing Mary Ives an infant of the age of six years; at Rochester [Kent] Hannah Arthur otherwise Arter for feloniously setting fire to a barn of Ambrose Rose, Thomas Lee 'of feloniously being seen and found in company and fellowship with diverse other persons called and calling themselves Egyptians and continuing with them for the space of one month', and William White for stealing a chestnut mare. Signed by T [Thomas] Denison and William Wynne who recommend mercy on condition of transportation.
