Folios 151-154. Folio 151. William Kenrick of St George's Southwark to the King. Petition for Letters Patent for his invention of a rotator 'which is entirely new and constructed upon such principles, that being once put in motion it will continue to revolve with a constant and regular degree of velocity' until its parts wear out or is stopped by an external force. Referral to the Attorney or Solicitor-General signed by [the Earl of] Egremont. Folio 152. William Kenrick's affidavit in support of his petition. Folios 153-154. Attorney-General's report recommending that the petition be granted on the terms requested provided that within a reasonable time Kenrick enrols in Chancery a description of his invention.
