Description

Folio 131. Further letter from Jas [James] Clements at Harwich to C [Charles] Jenkinson written at half past two in the afternoon. 'This moment the yachts came in file with three flags at their topmast heads below Landguard Fort the wind being at S [south] W [west]. We make no doubt but His Majesty's consort will land at Harwich in less than two hours I hope in good health'.
