Folios 125-126. George, Earl of Cardigan and Mary, Countess of Cardigan to the King. Memorial relating to the islands of Santa Lucia and St Vincent and praying that in any peace treaty to be concluded with France the King order that 'care be taken to secure the just rights of your memorialists and the quiet possession of those islands to them and their family' and if this is not possible that 'a proper compensation may be secured for the losses sustained by the late Duke of Montagu and the memorialists'.
