Folios 146-147: Bartholomew Roberts, HMS Espiegle, Yarmouth. Has arrived with dispatches from Admiral Duncan which he forwards by express. Subsequent to orders by Admiral Duncan to look into the Texel he counted 14 to 18 ships at anchor apparently ready for sea from which he deduces that no Dutch fleet is at sea.
