Folios 142-143: Bartholomew Roberts, HMS Espiegle, Yarmouth. Reports detaining the Maria sailing from Copenhagen to Dunkirk; the Frederica Dorothea sailing from Copenhagen to Dunkirk; Charlotte Henrietta from Koninsberg to Amsterdam; De Twee Gebroders from Bremen to Amsterdam; De Frase Eyte from Hook Seel to Amsterdam; Jappenesch from Riga to Amsterdam; De Kanel Borm from Riga to Amsterdam; Wandringsman from Pillan to Amsterdam. Also encloses a letter from William Hanbury, Consul at Hamburgh addressed to any Captains of H.M. ships at Cuxhaven.
Folios 144-145: Letter dated 18 August 1785 by William Hanbury, Consul at Hamburgh to any Captains of H.M. ships at Cuxhaven. Advises that he has received intelligence that small vessels with corn and other articles from the Baltic are to go through the Holstein Canal to avoid our cruisers in the Categat.
