Memorandum listing three new gaming houses - the first in the Strand said to be the assembly of Monsieur Champenney [de Champigny], Minister from the Elector of Cologne; the second said to be fitting up in Golden Square, Soho as the assembly of Baron Haslang, Minister of the Elector of Bavaria; the third in Suffolk Street near the Haymarket said to be for the assembly of Monsieur Sambony, Minister from the Prince of Hesse Darmstadt.
