Folios 286-289. Folios 286 and 289. Letter from Lord Hillsborough to the Earl of Rochford enclosing by command of the King:- Folios 287-288. The Memorial of Stephen Fuller, Agent for the island of Jamaica, to the Earl of Hillsborough, Secretary of State for the Colonies behalf of several planters of Jamaica 'owners of negroe slaves that have of late eloped from thence to the island of Cuba' and which the governor of St Iago de Cuba [Santiago de Cuba] has refused to return citing orders from the Spanish Court. The petioner asks that Hillsborough use his 'endeavours for the redress of the several sufferers, and to prevent this unjustifiable practice in time to come'. Copy.
