Description

Folios 244-245: Charles Frederick Payne, Osmington near Weymouth.

Having been informed that the Storekeeper in Canada was informed that HMS St. Lawrence was rated second class from December 1814 and he is only entitled to first class pay and allowances for six weeks he insists he was never informed of this and hopes their Lordships will treat him as they have other officers and honour his position.
