Folio 217: Admiralty letter to Captain Patterson of 22 Norfolk Street.
In response to his request for full pay as Lieutenant for the period 15 July-9 September 1807 informs him he is only entitled to half pay.
Folio 218: enclosure with folio 217. Brief note in response from Captain Patterson, which arrived at the Admiralty 10 August 1816.
Having annotated the letter from the Admiralty providing more detail of the service in question, he requests clarification as to whether the half pay has in fact been authorised.
