Folios 209-210: Nicholas Lechmere Patershall, HMS Carron, Portsmouth.
Having received a letter from their Lordships stating that John Cooper would be confirmed as boatswain as soon as the ship is surveyed he points out there survey has already taken place. He urges the warrant be issued before the ship is paid off at the end of the week.
