Folios 199-200: Captain Samuel Pechell, HMS Clorinde, Deptford.
Advises that Mr Charles Wright has been acting Boatswain of HMS Clorinde for nearly a year, appointed by Rear Admiral Charles Penrose, and as he has conducted himself so well, and Pechell thinks him in every way a deserving officer, asks if their Lordships will confirm him as Boatswain. Admiralty note on rear confirms this and says he will be appointed to a sloop.
