Folios 192-193: Hon. Jocelyn Percy, Portman Square.
Percy's agent, Alexander Davison, had written to the Admiralty on 30 September 1812, asking that he be paid for the period he was in command of HMS Volontaire, a French frigate captured at the Cape of Good Hope. Their Lordships' direction was that he be awarded the pay and compensation of a sloop with a complement of 121 men, but so far this has not been paid as the Navy Office is demanding his accounts for the period concerned. He notes that due to the exigencies of the service and the brief time available he kept no accounts, but that the Purser's accounts for that time have been rendered, so asks that the need for him to supply accounts may be dispensed with. The period is 9 March to 1 July 1806.
Folio 193A: Enclosure with folios 192-193: form dated 11 July 1816, request for the Accounts of Jocelyn Percy to be dispensed with. Action: refer to Navy Board.
