Folios 16-19: Co-operation with Army. Copy of telegram; No 140 dated 25 March 1915 from First Lord of the Admiralty [Winston Churchill] to Vice Admiral John Michael de Robeck, personal and secret, (folios 17-19).

Folio 20: Copy of telegram; No 278 dated 26 March 1915 from Vice Admiral Sackville Hamilton Carden, Commanding Eastern Mediterranean Squadron to Admiralty, for First Sea Lord [Winston Churchill], secret and personal.

Folios 21-27: Pack 49A: Forcing of Dardanelles - general orders. Folio 22: Admiralty orders 5 February 1915 signed by William Graham Green.

Folios 23-34: Vice Admiral Sackville Hamilton Carden, HMS Queen Elizabeth, Commanding Eastern Squadron Mediterranean, orders dated 14 February 1915 for the forcing of the Dardanelles by the Allied Squadron. Includes list of ships and pendant board (folio 28), and organisational chart of Eastern Mediterranean Squadron, (folio 34).

Folios 35-37: Memorandum - Defence against aircraft dated 29 March 1915 by Rear Admiral Cecil Fiennes Thursby, HMS Queen. Folios 38-70: Pack number 49B, Operations-orders.

Folios 40-41: Memorandum - notes on bombardment. Includes plan of Dardanelles showing proposed positions of ships, dated 18 February 1915 by Vice Admiral Sackville Hamilton Carden, HMS Inflexible, (folio 41).

Folios 42-44: Operation Order No 1, dated 20-22 February 1915, by Vice Admiral Sackville Hamilton Carden, HMS Inflexible. The reduction of the Forts at entrance to Dardanelles will be continued on the 21 February [1915]. Includes plan showing positions of ships, (folio 43).

Folios 45-47: Operation Order No 2, dated 3 March 1915, by Vice Admiral Sackville Hamilton Carden, HMS Inflexible. Bombardment of Chanak and Forts on opposite shore. Includes plan of course for ships spotting for HMS Queen Elizabeth, (folio 47).

Folio 48: Location and destruction of enemy batteries, dated 6 March 1915, by Vice Admiral Sackville Hamilton Carden, HMS Inflexible. Folio 49: Attack against forts 13 and 19, dated 7 March 1915, by Vice Admiral Sackville Hamilton Carden, HMS Inflexible.

Folios 50-51: Operation Order No 3, dated 7 March 1915, by Vice Admiral Sackville Hamilton Carden, HMS Inflexible. Attack on defences at the Narrows. Includes sketch showing manoeuvring areas for ships.

Folios 52-55: Attack on defences at the Narrows, dated 15 March 1915, by Vice Admiral Sackville Hamilton Carden, HMS Queen Elizabeth.
