Folios 305-314: CB number 01448 O.X.O, Copy number 439, UB.72 Interrogation of Survivors, June 1918.

Folio 306: Cover sheet, UB.72.

Folio 307: table of contents.

Folio 307: Preliminary Notes. UB. 72 sunk on 12 May 1918. The only three survivors were all making their first cruise in a submarine on active service.

Folios 307-309: Last Cruise of UB.72. Left Heligoland on 29 April 1918 and proceeded via Fair Isle to the entrance to North Channel. Patrolled in the Irish Sea and arrived off Brest on 10 May. On morning of 12 May headed towards Cherbourg on the surface when stuck by a torpedo fired by British submarine D.4 which then rescued the survivors.

Folio 309: Previous History of UB.72. Four previous cruises were off the Yorkshire coast.

Folio 309: Remarks on Survivors and Commanding Officer of UB.72. The survivors had limited knowledge. The captain Lieutenant Traeger was very popular but somewhat over-confident of never diving until last minute.

Folio 310: Remarks on Other Submarines. UB.64, UB.65, UB.88, UB.62, UB.83 and UC.76.

School Flotilla, Kiel, The Submarine Section Barracks, Instructional Vessels, Training of Officers, Training of Warrant Officers, Training of Deck Ratings, Training of Engine Room Ratings, Training of Torpedo Ratings, Training of W/T Ratings. Plate: Plan of Kiel Showing Position of Instructional Establishments, Hulks, etc. (folio 311).

Folio 314: Various Obsolete Vessels at Kiel. Used for training and experimental duties.

Folio 315: Appendix I: UB. 72. List of names and ranks of crew.
