Description

Captured ship: Anne and Mary of Liverpool (master William Watts).

History: an English merchant ship (60 tons), bound from Liverpool to Stockholm, laden with tobacco and lead; taken first by a French privateer off the Orkneys, retaken on 10/20 June 1694 off Flamborough Head by HMS Woolwich (Archibald, Lord Hamilton commanding), and brought into Great Yarmouth.
