Captured ship: Anne and Elizabeth of Topsham (master Charles Quicke).
History: an English merchant ship (50 tons, 1 Englishman and 4 Frenchmen as prize crew), bound from Plymouth to the Canary Islands, laden with cloth, candles, iron serges; taken on 21/31 January 1692/3, 80 leagues from Cape St Vincent by the French privateer St Anthony of St Malo (M de la Villetreux commanding), but then separated from the captor by bad weather and rectaken by Cornish fishermen on 18/28 February 1692/3 off Lands End and brought into St Ives.
