Captured ship: Anne of Loquin (master Charles Rovar) and two barques, name unknown.
History: a French ship (shallop, 2 tons, 2 men and 2 boys), bound from 'Arquis'to 'Paimpol, laden with cider; taken on 26 April / 6 May 1695, off the Île Mez de Goëlo, Brittany by the privateer Satisfaction of London (John Gruchy commanding), and brought into Guernsey. Gruchy also deposed that immediately after he saw a fleet of 40 sail which he chased, and took two barques which had left the fleet, both in ballast, with no papers and abandoned by their crews on his approach, one of 40 tons, which he also sent into Guernsey.
