WO 76. The Prince of Wales's Volunteers (South Lancs) 1st Battalion (40th Foot): records for the 40th Regiment of Foot and later, after 1881, when known as the South Lancashire Regiment (The Prince of Wales’s Volunteers). 1 vol. (bound up in WO 76/358 is an 'Army Book 83').
