Folio 121. Letter from Wm [William] Dowdeswell [Chancellor of the Exchequer] to the Duke of Richmond sending a copy of the French arrets establishing several duties in Canada originally sent to the Duke by Lord George Lennox. Dowdeswell asks that a copy be sent to Mr [Charles] Lowndes at the Treasury as it will be a very useful paper to be deposited there. Dated at Downing Street. Enclosure not filed here.
