Folios 119-120. Mr Justice John Norton's report to [the Duke of Richmond] on the cases of the following: William Hillditch capitally convicted at Chester for stealing nine sheep belonging to Ralph Downing. Hillditch was reprieved on the representation of the Grand Jury. John Price capitally convicted at the Great Sessions for Flintshire for a burglary and robbery in the house of his master Lloyd Kenyon 'a very respectable and worthy Justice of the Peace' at whose intercession Price was reprieved. Charles Cambell [sic] also capitally convicted at the Great Sessions for stealing a horse belonging to William Jones. Norton recommends mercy in all three cases.
