Folios 115-118. Folios 115 and 118. Letter from Hen [Henry] Potts, Secretary General Post Office, to Richard Stonehewer enclosing for the information of the Duke of Richmond the following: Folios 116-117. A list of questions that were 'put to several masters of vessels and a gentleman lately arrived at Charlestown [Charleston, South Carolina] from the Havannah. Answered chiefly by the latter, who was there upwards of 13 months and left it the 16 of April 1766'. The questions and very detailed answers relate to the civil and military situation in Havanna. The insurrection in the kingdom of Quito, Mexico is mentioned and Cartagena, Porta Rica, Hispaniola, Cuba, Jamaica, Pensacola and New Orleans are also mentioned.
