Folios 105-106. The Recorder of London James Eyre's report to the Duke of Richmond on the case of Frederick Richards a prisoner in Newgate under sentence of transportation for seven years for stealing thirteen watches and other articles belonging to Lewis Masquerier. In his opinion Richards 'a servant betraying the trust and confidence reposed in him by his master' is not a proper object for a free pardon.
