Folios 75-76. Mr Justice Eardley Wilmot's report to the King on the case of Moses Israel capitally convicted at the last Assizes for Shropshire for 'secretly' stealing from Mary Fead a purse containing seven pounds and one shilling. He recommends mercy on condition of transportation for 14 years. Endorsed 'A pardon on condition of the above to be made out by his Majesty's Command'. Podmore's public house in Shrewsbury and Soloman Jonas are mentioned.
