Folios 247-248. Letter from Monsieur Roussel Roubaud to William Burke explaining how everything is going wrong in his life at present. A man in London is saying that Roubaud is the greatest enemy of France so he is no longer welcome there and asks for the British government's protection in exchange for his services. He mentions Canada and Quebec, where he served, and General Conway.
