Solicitor-General's report to the King recommending that the petition of Thomas Lawrance of Ludgate Street, London woollen draper and John Timmings of Bread Street, London weaver for Letters Patent for their invention of a material they call soyelaint for lining of 'gentlemen's cloths' and other purposes be granted provided that a written description be enrolled in Chancery within such reasonable time as specified in the Letters Patent.
