Folios 98-101. Attorney and Solicitor-General's report to the Earl of Sandwich on the petition of the Corporation of Trinity House praying that the Letters Patent granted by King Charles ll [in 1672] to Justinian Angell for maintaining lighthouses near the mouth of the Humber be revoked, and 'offering and promising to place or set up sufficient lights or sea marks for the security of navigation in those parts, which is at present, through various causes and neglects, by them assigned, rendered extremely dangerous'. Mr Thompson, a patentee is mentioned. Signed by Fletcher Norton and William de Grey.
