Letter from Beeston Long to Lovell Stanhope that he will take care to lay the copies of the 'office from the Marquis of Grimaldi to the Earl of Rochford dated Madrid 22 March with his Excellency's letter to the Earl of Halifax dated 5 April'. He observes 'that we are all greatly indebted to the Earl of Halifax and to his Majesty's Ambassador at the Court of Madrid for taking such measures as may bring this tedious matter to a conclusion'.
